BMW M5 lands in the Middle East
The powerful BMW M5 has been unveiled in the Middle East. The car has already had it’s debut at the Dubai International Motor Show earlier in the month. It has now gone on sale and is available across BMW showrooms across the region.
The M5 is at the top end of the scale within the 5 Series line up. It has exceptional capabilities in terms of speed and performance. The car looks beautiful too, from every angle. Not only that, but the BMW M5 is very practical with a spacious interior holding five seats with the car having four doors.
The 4.4 litre V8 engines works alongside a M Twin Power Turbo package, Twin Turbo technology, fully variable valve control along with direct petrol injection. With all of that, a total of 560 BHP is able to be produced from 6000 – 7000 RPM. It has a maximum 680 Nm of torque from 1500 RPM. The car can hit 0 – 62 MPH in just 4.4 seconds.
The car possesses wonderful agility and takes corners at great speeds. It can move surprisingly quickly in different directions despite it’s rather large frame.
EfficientDynamics Technology helps the car balance its powerful components with great economy ratings. The technology in question that is installed within the car includes Auto start stop, brake energy Regeneration which allows fuel consumption to be reduced by a considerable amount more than the last BMW M5. (Some experts say that the fuel consumption is cut by a tremendous 30 per cent)
Dr Joerg Breuer
Dr Joerg Breuer, BMW Group’s Managing Director for the companies Middle Eastern operations said that “The popularity and excitement of our BMW M models still continues to grow, however, driving a car boasting the M logo remains an exclusive experience,”
“The design, comfort, technology and engineering of the new BMW M5 are very different from the predecessor model, and as a result, our importers have already received numerous orders from customers wanting to purchase this car,”
BMW’s ConnectedDrive device allows the vehicle to be personalised to the driver in a number of ways. It’s a great touch to what already is a fantastic vehicle.
We believe the car will prove to extremely popular amongst the rich in the Middle East.
