The new BMW 1 Series as stunning as always
Looks wise, you’ll see a car that looks a like a typical BMW together with some noticeable differences. Although the changes are fairly subtle, they help to modernize the car’s image and boost its appeal. The front bumper hangs a lot lower, showcasing larger air intakes, redesigned kidney grilles and new headlights which appear to be designed with a sporting influence. LED daytime driving lights will be made standard on all 1 Series models. This not only gives the car a premium type of look, it also delivers an extra element of car safety.
High-tech LED technology
Full low and main beam headlamps have been added and adaptive LED headlamps will be made as optional extras. Being intelligent and adding an extra sense of driving safety to the car, the lights are able to follow the path of the road ahead and also adapt their settings according to the road and surrounding conditions. Rear lights also have LED technology, being designed with BMW’s typical L shape.
The 116d EfficientDynamics Plus Model
Consumers naturally expect newer vehicles to be more economical than the last, as do worldwide Government regulations. The new 116d EfficientDynamics Plus model will best illustrate this, being capable of achieving 89g/km.
The newer engines are designed to be more efficient as well as being more powerful and will deliver a better performance. The M135i will be able to produce an outstanding 326 BHP, being the most powerful model on offer.
