The BMW 3 Series in India

BMW were India’s number one luxury car manufacturer last year. This year it appears that Audi are proving to be strong rivals, overtaking Mercedes-Benz and battling with BMW for that number one spot.
The company’s best seller of all time, the 3 Series is one of major reasons as to why BMW India is performing wonders.

The BMW 320i and the 330i are for those who want a lot of power. Both variants achieve great speed, providing a thrilling ride for whoever is behind the wheel.

The new generation 3 Series has been something of a revelation. Inside the cabin you’ll get magnificent features such as a 6 CD changer, a transistor Loud Speaker system, Dacota accoutrements upholstery, central locking with an immobiliser, a steering wheel with plenty of control and functionality, Bluetooth connectivity ability, automatic rain sensor wipers and plenty more.

The car’s wonderful looks are something special in itself. The rejuvenated body features allow the 3 Series to keep its character whilst at the same time looking slightly more modern and aggressive.
The handling on the 3 Series has helped it become one of the best cars on the road today. At high speeds you will not feel too much juddering. If the adaptive dampers options are included upon the car, it is one of the best handling cars in its class. You will feel the extra agility once you are behind the wheel.

Safety is one of the most important features on any car on Indian roads. The BMW 3 Series comes packed full of safety equipment including Dynamic Brake Control, Dynamic Traction control, ABS, Dynamic stability Control, Cornering Brake Control and much more. There will be an alarm fitted onto every model.
There is plenty of space and practicality within the vehicle. The front has a large amount of head and legroom. Tall people will sit in comfort. The boot has a lot of room too, with the standard 480 litres able to be extended further if necessary as the seats are designed to split fold.
Running costs are a fundamental reason behind the purchase of a vehicle in India, more so than in established markets like here in the UK. The BMW 3 Series has some great options to satisfy the needs of many potential Indian consumers. The 3 Series 320d Efficient Dynamics can hit a figure of almost 70 MPG.

Many expect BMW India to retain their crown this year.
